# Kentucky Deer Hunting Packages and Prices for 2026–27

## 2026-27 Hunting Season Dates & Prices

### **Spring Turkey Hunts (April 18 - May 10, 2026)**

Kentucky's 2026 youth-only spring turkey weekend is April 4-5\. The general spring turkey season runs April 18 through May 10\. Contact us for current turkey pricing and youth hunt details.

### **September Hunts**

**Velvet Bow Hunt (September 2026)**

Kentucky archery opens Sept. 5, 2026\. These early dates are for hunters who want a shot at velvet bucks before patterns change. The timing and short season make this one of our higher-priced early-season hunts.

### **October Hunts**

**Youth Hunt (Mid October 2026)**

Kentucky youth-only firearms season is Oct. 10-18, 2026\. These hunts are set up for young hunters who need a safe, patient hunt with clear help from the guide team.

**Early Rut (Early November 2026)**

These deer hunting packages are built for hunters who want the pricing and ground rules up front. A Kentucky whitetail hunt takes planning around weather, hunting pressure, wind, and the season you choose. No outfitter can guarantee a deer, but we can put you in a prepared stand, keep the schedule clear, and tell you honestly what each package includes.

- **Lowest deer package:** $1,950 for select muzzleloader dates.
- **Highest listed deer package:** $4,500 for 5 days / 6 nights during mid-November rifle season.
- **Deposit:** 50% non-refundable deposit to reserve dates.
- **Final payment:** Balance due by August 1st.
- **License and tags:** Not included. Hunters buy these separately before arrival.

## **Booking Your Hunt**

Dates are held by deposit, not by a casual inquiry. Call or text Michael Small or Ryan Small with the package you want, the number of hunters, and any backup dates you can make. Rut dates are a common first choice and can fill quickly, so ask about availability early. If budget is the main factor, ask directly about the $1,950 muzzleloader options.

## **Additional Information & Policies**

Please read these policies before sending a deposit. They keep expectations clear for everyone in camp.

- **Deposit & Payment:** All hunts are paid deer hunts requiring a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due by August 1st, and deposits cannot be carried over to the following year.
- **Licenses & Tags:** Hunting licenses and tags are not included in the package price. Hunters must obtain these separately before arrival.
- **Minimum Harvest Size:** Bucks must meet a 130-inch minimum. Harvesting a buck under this minimum results in a $750 fee, which increases to $1,000 on the last day of your hunt.
- **Wounded Game Policy:** Drawing blood on any deer is considered a harvested animal, and your hunt for that species ends when an animal is wounded.
